Dr. Rahul Bhalgami is a young Consultant Gastroenterologist who is attached with Ansh Clinic, BAPS Hospital, and Star Hospital in Ahmedabad in Gujarat. He possesses an extensive experience in therapeutic upper GI procedures like feeding tube placement in stomach and jejunum, dilatation of esophageal and pyloric stricture, variceal band ligation and sclerotherapy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, esophageal and enteral stent placement and endoscopic management of ulcers, therapeutic lower GI procedures like polypectomy, colonic stent placement, rectal stricture dilatation and APC. He has received training in all therapeutic ERCP procedures. Till date, he has performed more than 1500 ERCP independently including stone removal, biliary leaks and stenting. He has also conducted more than 14000 therapeutic and diagnostic upper GI and lower GI endoscopies and other therapeutic procedure.

Dr. Bhalgami has completed MBBS from BJ Medical College. His MD in General Medicine was pursued from NHL Medical College and KM School of PG Medicine. He also holds DNB degree in Gastroenterology which he accomplished from National Board of Examination, New Delhi. His list of past work includes, working as

His previous assignments also include working at Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute in Ahmedabad in it's IVTC department as an Endoscopist, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Medical College and SSG Hospital in Baroda, and Senior Resident in ICU at Apollo Hospitals in Ahmedabad.
